Costa Vida began with a simple conviction: that fast food didn't have to mean compromising on quality, freshness, or flavor. In 2014, our founders — lifelong Californians with a shared passion for coastal cuisine — opened our first location in Roseville with a handful of recipes and an unwavering commitment to real ingredients.
What started as a neighborhood gem quickly grew into a beloved local institution. Our guests kept coming back — not just for the food, but for the warmth, the energy, and the sense that something genuinely special was being made in that kitchen every single day.

The First Bowl
Costa Vida opens its doors at 1475 Eureka Rd, Roseville. Our founders hand-craft every sauce on day one. Lines form around the building within the first week.
Best New Restaurant
Recognized by the Roseville Dining Guide as the Best New Restaurant of the Year. Our signature Coastal Bowl becomes the most-ordered dish in the region.
Local Sourcing Program
We launch our Farm-to-Table Partnership Program, connecting with four local Northern California farms to supply seasonal vegetables and herbs year-round.
Online Ordering Launch
We launch our online ordering platform, making it easier than ever for guests to enjoy fresh Costa Vida food at home or at the office. Over 1,000 orders placed in the first month.
Adapting & Serving
Through challenging times, we pivot to contactless delivery and curbside pickup, feeding frontline workers in Roseville at no charge through our Community Care initiative.
Expanded Menu & Catering
We introduce a full catering service for corporate events and celebrations, and expand our menu to 120+ items including a new plant-based coastal collection.
